Dr. Laura Pressley, 2014 candidate for the Austin City Council District 4, found multiple inconsistencies regarding the results of her run off election and filed an historic Texas election contest lawsuit. Here is an executive summary of her election contest. Pressley's case is currently in the Texas Supreme Court and the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, has submitted an Amicus Brief in support of the case. About Laura Pressley: I'm 55 years old, a wife, mother, grandmother, and have lived in Austin over 29 years. As a semiconductor technology professional and active community leader for the past 20 years, I've taken many opportunities to usher in real improvements in our community and at City Hall. As a Council Member, with District 4 as my guide, we can do so much more.

Efficient roadways lead the way to progress. We will optimize:
bus routes, traffic light timing, staggered work and class schedules, and roadway and ramp design to improve mobility.
SAFEGUARD OUR ENVIRONMENT
Our health starts with our environment. We will conserve water by supporting rainwater collection, repairing leaks and reusing gray water.
